i had mine massaged again by the chinese physician yesterday evening - painful but i didn't hafta wail my lungs out like last week. mine is just tender from increasing my mileage in the vibrams, no injuries.

did you increase your mileage recently after ramadhan/puasa (AHM notwithstanding)?

No change in mileage.

21 clicks on Sunday morning is normal for me; I do that once or twice a month. I'd do it every week if it weren't for the fact that I sometimes have commitments on Sundays.

That said, my shoes have logged over 1000 clicks, including two full marathons.

I think it's about time I got new running shoes. The cushioning may have already gone kaput, leading to the injury.

Had a great weekend... I finally managed to eat @ Joe's Kitchen Thai Food, opposite Alexandra Hospital... We had:

And yes, dun remind me, I forgot to order the mango salad -___- However, fatum's message on ikea's herring plate came too late so I left the area without going to ikea for the herring... Not a big problem as I have Ikea quite near my area...

Accompanied mom for sunday... I told her I would give her a dinner treat and she chose Ding Tai Fung... But then the XLBs and other de standard drop quite alot wor... -___- abit disappointed...

Err Ding Tai Fung XLBs all along I think not nice at all and I cannot figure out why is there a long queue outside also

you're "supposed" to decommissioned them after 500-800k depending on how you feel about the cushioning! if you've a bit to spare, get 2 pairs to alternate.

The Ding Tai Fung at Tampines mall always have a long queue outside but I rather go down to Crystal Jade at the basement or Pu Tien to eat or go over to Dian Xiao Er or Imperial Treasures at Tampines One :P

Their XLB even in the past I think lose to Crystal Jade…. We ate there once and never went back again (at least 3 – 4 yrs back ) . I remembered we were saying we wonder what is the reason for the super long queue.

I also really like the Carp Belly Porridge at Crystal Jade although that thing is filled with bones.

hey pinky.... yes it's been a while..... as I have been away (Vancouver/Alaska/Banff) on holiday for 3 weeks.... how was your trip to edmonton? I remember you mentioned that on the forum a while ago.

I can't remember whether we had to queue last time we went but I just remembered it wasn't as good as Crystal Jade. I always love Crystal Jade as long as I know.... I love their la mien..... mmmmmmmmmmmm.... la mien... yum yum! And I haven't found any XLB as nice as Crystal Jade yet!

I’m so in love with the aged Alberta beef in Canada.

And I actually got a tan in Canada despite it being end of Summer

They said I brought the Singapore sun with me. Haha

Fatum, keep your foot raised up and have plenty of rest

The Chinese sinseh I went to said it’s best not to use an ice pack to reduce the swelling as it slows down recovery as it constricts the blood vessels although it is very common practice to use an ice pack.

Just leave it alone but you need lots of rest and perhaps acupuncture to relieve the pain.

Don’t later like me hurt ankle but bo pian need to walk a lot, I ended up pulling another muscle so up till now my left leg have not really recovered yet.
